Helen Marie Weinhold, 99, of Leesport, formerly of Stevens, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2016, at Berks Heim Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born in Mohnton to the late Leonpolt and Carrie (Burkholder) Stegeman and was the wife of the late Chester Weinhold who died in 1969.

Helen enjoyed embroidering and doing word puzzles.

In her working years, she was a sewing machine operator for Skip's Cutting in New Holland.

Helen is survived by a son, James H. Price of Lancaster, a daughter, Nancy L. Bauman and fiance` Richard D. Fister of Stevens; 2 grandchildren, Cindy L. Roy, and Paul E. Bauman of Ephrata; 2 great-grandchildren, Nikcole A. Bryan and Michael G. Rodrigues; and a sister, Ruth E., wife of Charles Moore of Shillington.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by former husband, Amos Price.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 8th, at 11:00 am, at Memory Gardens Memorial Cemetery, 319 Wabash Road, Ephrata.
