Ruth Etta Nye, 88, of Ephrata, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2015, at Fairmount Homes Inc., Ephrata.

She was born in Elizabethtown to the late Norman and Fannie (Brandt) Greiner.

Ruth was the founder of the Nye Family Singers.

Ruth is survived by 4 children, David, husband of Kiki Nye of Lititz, Fred Nye (a.k.a. Matt Berenger), partner of Oscar Ramirez of Alexandria, VA, Jane, wife of Robert Glick of Lititz, Nancy, wife of Elwood Martin of New Holland; 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Jay, Ralph, Hiram, and Paul Greiner.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 24, from 10 to 11 am at the Village Chapel Mennonite Church of Voganville, 335 Wissler Rd., New Holland, followed by funeral services held at 11 am. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
