Obituary for Warren Weaver

Warren Weaver, 94, of Lancaster, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at the Mennonite Home, Lancaster. He found great joy in his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved spending time with his family and sharing meals together.

He was born in New Holland to the late Walter E. and Minnie (Martin) Weaver and was the husband of Ada Mae (Bucher) Weaver with whom he shared 75 years of marriage.

Warren was an active member of Crossroads Community Fellowship, Lititz, formerly known as Hess Mennonite. He was the owner/operator of Warren Weaver Realtor. He served on the board of directors of Farmers 1st Bank of Lititz for 21 years, board of directors of Black Rock Camp for 25 years and chairman of the board of directors of Partner In Evangelism (P.I.E.) for 25 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by 3 sons, Ronald W. Weaver, Theodore L., husband of Dorothy Weaver, William J., husband of Alice Weaver; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Weaver and a sister Alma Zugg.

A viewing will take place on Tuesday, November 18, from 11 to noon, at the Crossroads Community Fellowship, 1060 E. Newport Rd., Lititz, followed by his funeral service at noon, with Pastors Glenn Sell and Shannon Hollinger officiating. Interment will take place in the Hess Mennonite Cemetery.
