Obituary for Debra Sue Moore (Brubaker)

Debra Sue Moore (Brubaker)
Debra Sue Moore, 46, of Denver, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2012, at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. She was surrounded by her family who loved her very much.

She was born in Ephrata to Emanuel and Judith (Antrim) Brubaker of Stevens.

Deb attended Cocalico High School and worked as a receptionist for GSM Roofing. She went to LCBC in Mount Joy and Ephrata. Deb was active in Relay for Life, ORCA, the Polar Bear Plunge at Mt. Gretna, and an Adopt a Family program through her employer GSM. Every Christmas Eve she volunteered at the Water Street Rescue Mission helping to serve Christmas dinners. Deb liked riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, going to the beach and bay, and animals, especially her cat Oliver. Spending time with her granddaughters and family, and getting together with friends were things Deb enjoyed most.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Justin Scott Sensenig of Ephrata; a brother, Chad, husband of Jessica (Noll) Brubaker of Reamstown; a sister, Tracy, wife of John Nissly of Stevens; granddaughters, Shelby and Hailey Sensenig; her feline companion, Oliver; 3 nieces and a nephew, Jennifer Nissly, Stephanie Nissly, Collin Brubaker and Ivy Brubaker.

A Celebration of Deb’s Life will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012, 4:00 pm at the LCBC Church, 6 Hahnstown Road, Ephrata, with Pastor Matt Graybill officiating. Family will receive friends an hour prior and following the service. Private interment will be at the convenience of the family.

If desired, memorial contributions in Debra's memory may be made to ORCA, Organization for Responsible Care of Animals, 401 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA 17602 or her church LCBC, 6 Hahnstown Road, Ephrata, PA 17522.
